160+ Meals Made, Packed and Delivered

Our students took the lead in the St Pat’s Food Drive, planning and delivering the project from start to finish.

They organised the logistics, created a budget, shopped for ingredients, and prepared over 160 fresh sandwiches and pasta meals from scratch. Every stage required collaboration, problem-solving, and a shared sense of responsibility.

The kitchen was a busy space, with our students working together to prepare and pack each meal with care. They then delivered everything to St Patrick’s Community Support Centre, seeing the project through to real community impact.

What stood out most was the level of ownership our students took. This wasn’t a set task led by staff, but a genuine student-led initiative.

Experiences like this are at the heart of learning at The Studio School. Throughout the year our students are given opportunities to build practical skills while contributing to their community in meaningful, tangible ways.

This initiative not only provided essential support to those in need but also deepened our students’ understanding of what can be achieved with collaboration, and the impact they can have when they take the lead.
