A huge congratulations to our Learning Coach, Lauren Musto, who has been recognised by Basketball WA as the Volunteer of the Year across Western Australia.
Lauren was nominated by the Cockburn Cougars, where she has served as the NBL1 Women’s Team Manager for the past five years. In this role, she has dedicated her time, skills, and passion to supporting the team both on and off the court.
For Lauren, it’s all about being part of a team and a community of strong, talented women who achieve great things together.
Alongside her volunteer work, Lauren has also recently completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Although the course was open for 12 months, she impressively finished it in just nine. With this qualification, Lauren will now be delivering VET courses at The Studio School, including Cert II in Community Services and Cert II in Community Volunteering, alongside her role as a Learning Coach.
Looking ahead, Lauren says she is most excited about “continuing to help the students in their future endeavours.”
We’re so proud to see her commitment celebrated at a state level and to have staff who embody the service values of The Studio School community.
