What a day it was at The Studio School’s 2025 Sports Carnival!
Students arrived in full colour and high spirits, ready to give it their all across a day packed with friendly competition and community connection. From Capture the Flag and Tug of War to the always-entertaining Watermelon Eating Competition, the energy was contagious.
“It’s probably my favourite day of the year,” Lelu (Year 12) shared. “We come together as a community and it’s so much better than a normal sports carnival because everyone is supportive and everyone gets involved.”
The mix of volleyball, soccer, dodgeball and the 50-metre sprint made for plenty of action, but what stood out most was the encouragement and laughter that filled the day. “My favourite memory from all the TSS sport carnivals I’ve been to is definitely the watermelon eating,” added Lelu. “It’s hilarious to watch people demolish slices of watermelon as quickly as they can – and all the mess, laughing and cheering in the process!”
Events like the Sports Carnival capture what makes The Studio School special — a culture built on participation, inclusion, teamwork and joy, with games designed to get everyone moving, laughing, and working together. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success.
