How are Mentors and placements for projects organised?

Our TSS staff have experience in pairing students with relevant ‘real -life’ experiences. When you enrol at TSS, the Mentor teacher seeks, in collaboration with you and your family, suitable partners who can support you in the exploration of your particular passion or idea. The Mentor and placement experience can include the following:

• face to face meetings with your project Mentor;

• project placements - working in your project Mentor’s work environment for a period of time on a particular day during the week;

• Mentor ‘drop-ins’ to the Studio at pre-arranged times;

• online meetings and check-ins;

• field work.

Exciting Update: Jordan to Represent WA at National Championships and Australia in New Zealand

The Studio School is thrilled to share an exciting update from Jordan (Year 10)! 🚴‍♂️ He has been selected for not one, but TWO major cycling events. Jordan has just finished 2nd in the Australian National Road Cycling Championships and will soon be representing Australia in the Tour of Southland in New Zealand. We’re extremely proud to support his journey!

Jordan's Epic Cycling Achievements and the Impact of the International Sports Grant

Year 10 student Jordan, The Studio School’s first recipient of the International Sports Grant, has recently returned from an inspiring three-month cycling journey across Europe. Representing Australia, he competed at the highest levels of junior cycling, gaining invaluable experience and achieving impressive results, including a 2nd place finish in Belgium.

Andy’s Extraordinary Journey: The 2024 AFS Global STEM Academy in India

Andy recently returned a four-week AFS Global STEM Academy program in India, exploring sustainability, STEM, and social impact. He immersed himself in cultural experiences, innovative projects, and sustainability practices, gaining invaluable insights and deepening his passion for positive change.
